Terms of Service

Thank you for using Shotbreaker (https://shotbreaker.com, the “Service”), provided by 매질소프트 (the “Operator”). These terms set out how the Service may be used and the rights and duties of the Operator and its users.

1. The Service

The Service analyses a video you upload with artificial intelligence (AI) and makes a shot-by-shot storyboard book, which you can read and edit online and, after payment, download as a watermark-free A4 PDF.

With the “AI drawing” option, every shot is redrawn by AI in a hand-drawn style after payment.

2. AI disclosure

The shot analysis, scene descriptions and AI drawings are produced by artificial intelligence and may contain errors or omissions. Please check the result and correct it with the editing tools where needed.

AI drawings are AI-generated images based on the scenes of your video.

3. Accounts

You sign in with a Google account. The Service is not for children under 14.

You are responsible for your account; if you suspect misuse, tell us at 931201v@gmail.com right away.

4. Your content

• You must own the videos you upload or have the permissions needed to use them.
• You may not upload illegally recorded or sexually explicit material, child sexual abuse material, content promoting violence or hatred, or anything that infringes the rights of others.
• The Operator claims no rights in your content and processes it only as needed to provide the Service (analysis, making, storing and delivering the book).
• The Operator may remove content and restrict use when a violation is found or a rights holder makes a legitimate request.

5. Prices and payment

Prices depend on the length of the video and the chosen option, are shown in US dollars before you pay and include taxes.

Payments are processed by Creem (Armitage Labs OÜ), our Merchant of Record, which also issues receipts and tax documents. Your card or other payment details are never passed to the Operator.

6. Refunds

The PDF is digital content delivered right after payment. If the PDF is not produced after payment or cannot be used because of a technical fault, tell us at 931201v@gmail.com within 14 days of payment and we will refund you in full after checking. Refunds are made through Creem to the original payment method.

7. Retention

Jobs (the uploaded video and its book) are deleted automatically 30 days after they were made. Download a paid PDF before then. You can delete a job earlier at any time on My page.

8. Prohibited use

Automated mass use of the Service, getting around its security measures, and using someone else's account or payment method are prohibited.

9. Limitation of liability

The Operator is not liable for damage caused by events beyond its control, such as natural disasters or outages of external services.

You are responsible for the lawfulness of your content, and the Operator does not guarantee the accuracy of AI results. Unless caused by the Operator's intent or gross negligence, the Operator's liability is limited to the amount paid for the job concerned.

10. Changes

Changes to these terms are announced on the Service at least 7 days before they take effect, or 30 days before for changes to your disadvantage.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Please contact 931201v@gmail.com first about any dispute; if it cannot be settled, it goes to the competent court under the Korean Civil Procedure Act.
